“Periodontal diseases are a very serious problem”
 
Gingivitis and periodontitis are very common diseases produced by bacteria we have in our mouths and that we can transmit to other people. If these bacteria are not correctly eliminated they affect our gums and produce inflammation.
 
The inflammation subsequently moves below the gum and destroys the bone and the tissues that support the teeth, the result being tooth mobility and loss, and possible inflammatory alterations in the rest of the body.
 
These diseases advance without our knowing.
