The image captured by the scanner (i-CAT) enables virtual surgery to be performed before the actual operation, which notably increases precision in the placement of implants.

The i-CAT model of maxillofacial computerized tomography provides high definition digital images, with less radiation for the patient and an average scan time of just 20 seconds. In less than 1 minute, the i-CAT software delivers a quick and clear reconstruction of all the explored anatomy’s critical information. This allows the professionals at Clínica Sicilia to confirm the diagnostic techniques and offer faster and more precise responses, since both general and detailed views can be obtained. This is all possible without unnecessary movement and with no feeling of claustrophobia, since the scanner is open and the exploration takes place with the patient in a seated position.
